Bring it on! Ember doesn’t care about charcoal covered hands and laughs when smeared with brisket fat. Under the tough and forgiving exterior of a midnight black silicone sleeve the embers of a fire burn brightly with the signature Smartfire red lighting up the internal case.
Weather proof
The fan inlet is now located at the bottom. The new silicone sleeve is designed so heavy rain will slide right off the side, and light rain will curl around the edge then fall off the sleeve lip that extends past the probe sockets.
The sleeve fits like a glove, but is removable and replaceable as required. Can even wash it after any close encounters with dirt and grime!

At 8.6CFM the new fan has nearly doubled in power. We wanted stronger throughput to cover our customers using large cabinet smokers as they're super thirsty when starting up. More power than is needed for most smokers, but who doesn’t like a little extra oomph?!
The Button
We’ve added a physical button, it's very satisfying to push. It will have basic factory reset functionality (10 sec hold) at launch, and in the near term future you’ll be able to assign custom actions like cancel open lid mode, enable turbo 100% mode, etc!

With a range of noises to rival any toddler’s firetruck, there is a new audible alarm buzzer built in. By Christmas you’ll be able to customise the alarm sounds with your favourite old school “RTTL” mobile phone ringtones from the 90’s!

- We use a 5 volt fan so you can easily get through a weekend of cooking on a typical 10k power bank. Note to the wise, other market options use 12 volt fans which realistically means you have to have wall power or a large and expensive deep cycle battery to last a typical low and slow cook as they chew battery twice as fast!
Easy Install
- No need to unscrew bolts on kamado vents. No need to drill. We've made it super easy for everyone.
- The Kamado plate adaptors for Primo/BGE/KJ/PBC use an extender clip to attach to kamado sliding vents in seconds, which makes cleaning the ash tray a breeze!
- If you have a bullet smoker (ie ProQ, Weber, Fornetto) or kettle smoker, the Summer Pack for your smoker type automatically comes with the Universal Bowl Adaptor for no drilling attachment in a minute flat.

NOTE
- Not recommended for offsets! Their fireboxes are too hot and may melt Smartfires! Fireboxes are too large to control in a meaningful fashion. Do at own risk.
- Smartfire is designed to aid cooking in the smoking to BBQ temperature ranges (170-350F) and not recommended above 400F as that's when accidents may happen. Simply, it's not designed for pizzas or bread making, open your vents wide and let it ride!
